watching this documentary made me cry during some parts. i mean fuck, its kind of heavy. I couldn't imagine wanting to achieve something as much as some of these kids. all the collective pressures and undeniable physical commitement to earn a chance at competing for this insanely coveted high school championship is beyond my hulu frequenting, lazy ass. this documentary is pretty inspiring. it makes you ponder that age old question: what would happen if i really did put my mind to something? ( or what would happen if i spent at least sixty minutes less on the internet? )i guess the answer is, you can still fail. several times. but at least you seem less lazy.

It is a journey deep into the mind of an isolated young everyman as he fights a losing battle against loneliness and depression in a quiet American suburb.
