Good to be back in New York.

Old friends from SF droppin' a video this summer. Great to see people still skating, producing, editing, doing their thing! Hella tight.

Came across this on tumblr. I recognize this tattooed woman from a book I have on tribal tattoos from across the world. The photo was taken in the 1920's somewhere in Taiwan and I'm pretty certain she belongs to a Taiwanese aboriginal tribe known as The Saisiat people. I remember once telling an ex boyfriend that Taiwanese had aborigines only to be told that aborigines only existed in Australia. Funny how some people would rather insist on their own ignorance than acknowledge that the world might be different from what they know.

The Giants RULING

So Jersey Shore cast members can make around $100,000 per episode while America still risks losing PBS due to lack of federal funding? The world does work in mysterious ways. And by mysterious I mean fucked up. I think I need a notable quotables moment..

"Human history becomes more and more a race between education and catastrophe."
H. G. Wells (1866 - 1946), Outline of History (1920)

"I have never let my schooling interfere with my education."
Mark Twain (1835 - 1910)

"Every great advance in natural knowledge has involved the absolute rejection of authority."
Thomas H. Huxley (1825 - 1895)

New knowledge is the most valuable commodity on earth. The more truth we have to work with, the richer we become.
Kurt Vonnegut (1922 - 2007), Breakfast of Champions

Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance.
Confucius (551 BC - 479 BC)

We are drowning in information and starved for knowledge.

If it weren't for awesome shows like Wishbone, I'd be a totally different person. Pretty convinced shows like these made history appealing and sparked my appreciation for animals that made jokes.

Saw a few people post this on facebook. I like Rainn Wilson and Metallica? Can't say I'm not curious..

Apparently, this is how you erase a cd. With purple lazers.

More crazy space from earth stuff. Some of these quality cameras can sure make a girl feel like she has permanent cataracts.

Always trust everything you see on the internet. But for real- is that an alien?

Bummed I missed the premiere. I know everyone over at Prizefighter has been working hard on this video including Prizefigher Ray! Part 1 of four is available on youtube, with the rest being updated weekly. CHOPPEDLIVER!

Planet of the Kinetic Sculptures

Little guy! So freaking cute

I've finally reached the 20 day mark of this trip to China, and am now on my way to Taiwan for a few days. Don't know what the internet situation is going to be like so here are some random photos. This was taken during the Tombsweeping Holiday a week ago, outside of a mall. The Chinese version of power wheels I guess? Except your dad fits in the back.

Thumbs down for everyone, except us! Duh!

I started to look around and somehow all the kids started to match their scooters

Except this one..

Okay this one's mom for sure.

In Guangzhou, people like to relax

Like, really relax..?

Honestly, I have my moments when I too become a "bag lady", but now I'm pretty sure it's in the genes.

Hand trucks or Hunchbacks?
