Stop NYCHA's proposed Infill plan to build luxury housing.

Heavy Discussion firmly believes in opposing plans to build additional luxury housing in New York City. As if there aren't enough luxury houses developed, the New York Housing Authority is looking to make a quick buck, at the expense of low income senior citizens, by selling off 8 of it's public housing developments to private developers for 99 years, in hopes to cover "budget shortfalls". When does this budget shortfall, deficit shit ever end? It's like as long as you say the reason is budget cuts the blank checks are endless. And who ends up paying are the people who are in a position to have to be in public housing in the first place. It's a vicious cycle of bullshit priorities. They're gonna claim the money is going to go back into delayed "repairs". If only I believed that excuse especially when the MTA continually raises their prices on "improving" services that I honestly don't believe in for a second. Anyway, take a look at this petition if you can there are still about 61 needed signatures to oppose the plan. Link below.
